I am on my way back to the U.S.

After that fiasco at the tour office I’m almost kind of glad. Almost, but not completely. How dare they refuse to let me go on the walkabout tour? Who do they think they are?.

If that wasn’t bad enough, when I arrived at Sydney airport I was informed that I couldn’t use my own wheelchair to board the plane. They had to use a special one. (Insurance reasons, I suppose.). I could have lived with that easily enough. Unfortunately the gate agents couldn’t locate that chair and they had to carry me onto the plane. I could have refused to let them but then I would have missed my flight. I’m just glad that’s over with and I’m safely in my seat. I can’t imagine how things could get any worse. They’re getting ready for take off so I can’t write any more right now.
